My lack of blog posts lately is a sure sign of working too much and clearly not enough blogging and brunching! So where's my blog, brunch balance?

Yes I'm blaming it on work. Sometimes it even creeps into my weekends and takes up my free time. Now I have a backlog of super good brunch places that I can't wait to share.

While I blame this on work, I do still have breakfast during the week and a sneaky brunch every now and then. So here are a few spots in North Sydney I like to stop by for breakfast during the working week.

North Sydney breakfast on a weekday

SOUL ORIGIN (Mondays - Fridays)
Lower level, Greenwood Plaza - Shop SM36, 36 Blue St, North Sydney
Take away - these guys are the friendliest, most cheerful crew that make my mornings smile :) My usual takeaway combo - a large coffee and breakfast wrap $8.50
MEET@105
1/105 Miller St, North Sydney

Eat in - American diner type of food, it's generous, delicious and worth it. It is currently closed but I'm hoping it will re-open soon. Bacon and egg roll $9, vegetarian breaky $15
JANE EYRE (Monday - Saturdays)
2/76-80 Mount St, North Sydney - Read my review
Eat in -  Great location during the warmer months with outdoor seating. Staff are friendly and nice, food decent and prices reasonable for eat in breakfast.
TREEHOUSE (Mondays - Fridays)
60 Miller St, North Sydney
Eat in - a little garden oasis for a nice eat in meal and table service. Serving single origin coffee, the food is tasty even if it is in the higher price range. Omelette $17.50, Eggs benedict with salmon $18.
WALKER & JONES (Mondays - Fridays) Click to add a blog post for Walker & Jones on Zomato
Shop 6, Walker St, North Sydney

Take away - this tiny little cafe opened up in 2014 and pumps out super nice coffees and fresh juices. It's also all about their bagels here which are made fresh on the day. You could dine in but seats are limited.
BOURKE ST BAKERY (Mondays - Fridays)
Shop 17, 105 Miller St, North Sydney

Take away - nothing beats a nice warm freshly baked quiche ($5) to kick start your day. Coffees are good, just be prepared for a little wait.
*I am yet to try roots espresso, it's always so busy but I have heard good things!

  1. This is a great way to incorporate all those small food adventures you have by yourself/a friend! Soul Origin is one of my favourite franchises, with their coffees always being consistently good!!
